SSME’s AHNFS Series Fiber Optic Gyroscope North Finder is a high-precision directional device designed for fixed and semi-fixed scenarios. It enables rapid north-seeking and attitude calibration, serving industries like strategic guidance, mine directional drilling, and marine attitude reference systems.
• Rapid startup (10 seconds) and north-finding (3min/5min) for time-sensitive operations.
• High accuracy (azimuth 0.06°~1.5°, attitude angle 0.06°) even with large attitude angles (≤7°).
• Rugged design (fully sealed, -40℃~+60℃ operating temperature) for harsh environments.
• Wide Voltage Compatibility: Works with 9~36V DC power, suitable for various power systems (e.g., ship batteries, industrial generators).
• Latitude & Longitude Compensation: Automatically adjusts for geographic location, ensuring consistent accuracy across different latitudes (0°~360° azimuth range).
• Stable Data Output: RS422 interface (baud rate 9600~115200) for real-time data transmission to external systems (e.g., gyro total stations, mine control systems).
In underground mines (no GPS signals), the north finder replaces magnetic compasses (susceptible to metal interference) to provide accurate directional data for drilling equipment, ensuring mining paths align with design plans.
For military or aerospace applications (e.g., missile initial alignment, satellite antenna stabilization), the rapid north-finding and high accuracy ensure equipment targets are aligned correctly, even in dynamic environments.
For small ships or offshore platforms without complex navigation systems, the north finder provides attitude (roll/pitch) and azimuth data, supporting basic navigation and equipment stabilization.
