The BHD-5Core Basic Principles of the Modified Equipment: Vacuum Low-Temperature Boiling: Water boils at 100℃ under standard atmospheric pressure. The equipment uses a seawater jet pump to create a vacuum of 85%~95%, lowering the seawater boiling point to 40~65℃. No high-temperature heat source is required; waste heat from the approximately 85℃ cooling water in the marine diesel engine cylinder liners can be directly utilized, resulting in energy savings and no additional energy consumption.Distillation Desalination Logic: Salt and impurities in seawater cannot be vaporized with water vapor; only pure water becomes steam. After cooling and liquefaction, the steam becomes low-salinity freshwater, with quality superior to reverse osmosis permeable water, suitable for marine boiler water.Advantages of Plate Heat Exchangers: The entire heat exchange unit is a corrugated titanium plate. Each plate is divided into an evaporation zone, a steam-water separation zone, and a condensation zone from top to bottom. Heat source/seawater and cooling seawater/freshwater flow through the sides of the plate, respectively, resulting in a large heat exchange area, less scaling, and a compact size.

Competitive advantages
Two energy-saving selling points: Reverse Osmosis (RO) type and Plate Heat Exchanger/MVR type:
1. Reverse Osmosis Water Generator (Small and Medium Fishing Boats, Yachts): Produces water at room temperature without phase change, consuming only steam from the main engine and using only electricity; equipped with a high-performance Energy Recovery Device (ERD), its electricity consumption per unit of water produced is more than 15% lower than the industry average.
It facilitates intelligent irrigation, reduces chemical reagent consumption, and lowers consumable procurement costs.
2. Plate Heat Exchanger/MVR Waste Heat Water Generator (Ocean Cargo Ships, Tankers, Offshore Platforms): Utilizes waste heat from the ship's main engine and hot water from the cylinder liner to produce fresh water, with almost no additional energy consumption; MVR ships save 50%-70% more energy than traditional multi-effect evaporators, significantly reducing ship carbon emissions and setting a precedent for the highest carbon emission policies in developed countries.
Two-stage plate heat exchange technology: Produces twice the fresh water with the same waste heat, or consumes half the waste heat for the same water production; maintains stable water production even when the ship is slowing down, and the saved waste heat can be used for power generation, further reducing energy consumption.
Customer case study
The products are sold far and wide to Southeast Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and other regions, and have received high praise from customers.
